Nexo and Deploy Finance both pay you on stablecoins you are not using. Nexo is a custodial platform: you deposit, choose flexible or fixed-term savings, and Nexo credits interest every day. Deploy Finance is a pair of autonomous agents that trade from a wallet you own.
The overlap is earning on USDC without trading it yourself. The asymmetry is what decides your rate. On Nexo, your rate depends on the term you lock, your loyalty tier, and whether you take interest in Nexo's own token. On Deploy, the rate is whatever funding the perpetual market pays the agent's hedged position.

What is Nexo?
Nexo offers savings on more than 30 digital assets. Interest is credited every day and compounds in your savings wallet.
How Nexo's rates work
- Flexible savings pay daily with no lock-up. You can withdraw, trade, or keep earning at any time.
- Fixed-term savings pay more in exchange for a lock of one to twelve months.
- Loyalty tiers raise the rate. Nexo ties them to your portfolio: a balance above $5,000 and at least 10% held in NEXO tokens reaches the top Platinum tier.
- Taking interest in NEXO adds up to 2% on top of the base rate.
- Minimums apply. Nexo states that a portfolio balance of $5,000 or more, plus per-asset minimums, must be maintained to accrue interest.
- Availability varies. Nexo's terms say some or all of its services are not available in certain jurisdictions.
So the headline rate on Nexo is a combination of decisions: how long you lock, how much of your portfolio sits in Nexo's token, and which currency you are paid in. The top rate asks you to hold a meaningful share of your portfolio in a single platform token.
Deploy Finance: one rate source, no token to hold
Deploy Finance runs two live agents, both funded and settled in USDC.
- Income: Funding Rates holds roughly 75% of capital as the spot asset and uses 25% to back a 3x perpetual short of matching notional on Hyperliquid. It collects funding from leveraged longs every hour and rebalances automatically, closing positions rather than paying when funding turns negative.
- Superstar takes long or short positions on perpetual markets under a defined strategy.
You sign in with email or Google, and Deploy creates a self-custodial wallet on Privy's embedded-wallet infrastructure. You fund it with USDC, choose an agent and allocation, and approve a session key that can trade but cannot transfer or withdraw.
There are no tiers, no lock terms, and no platform token that changes your rate. Everyone allocating to Income: Funding Rates is exposed to the same market source. Deploy charges no subscription or management fee; gas and trade fees apply.
When should you choose Deploy Finance or Nexo?
Choose Deploy Finance when:
- You want your USDC in your own wallet rather than on a lending platform's balance sheet.
- You do not want to hold a platform token to reach a better rate.
- You want to exit without waiting for a fixed term to end.
- You want a return tied to a market you can watch rather than a rate a platform sets.
Choose Nexo when:
- You want a predictable fixed rate for a term of one to twelve months.
- You already hold NEXO tokens and qualify for the higher tiers.
- You want savings across many assets, not just USDC, in one account.
- You also use Nexo's other services, such as credit lines or its card.
Different rate drivers: Nexo sets your rate from your term, tier, and payout choice. Deploy Finance earns what the funding market pays on a position in your own wallet. No integration between the products is implied.
