Not financial advice. Crypto, DeFi and perpetual-futures strategies can lose money, including your whole deposit. Yields are variable, and past or backtested results do not predict future returns. Read the risk disclosure.
Giza and Deploy Finance both run an autonomous agent inside a wallet you control, and both give that agent a scoped session key instead of your main key. Giza's agent moves stablecoins between lending protocols to chase the best rate. Deploy's agents trade perpetual markets on Hyperliquid, one for funding carry and one for direction.
So the custody model is close and the return source is not. Giza earns what borrowers pay, plus incentive tokens on Base. Deploy's Income: Funding Rates agent earns what leveraged perpetual traders pay. If you used Giza's ARMA agent before it was retired in March 2026, this page also covers what changed.

What is Giza?
Giza builds autonomous agents for onchain capital. Its first two consumer agents were ARMA, a stablecoin yield optimizer on Base, and Pulse, which deployed staked ETH into Pendle markets. Giza announced their wind-down on 26 February 2026 and set a 26 March 2026 migration deadline. User funds from both were returned to users' wallets, and a single rebuilt Giza agent replaced them.
How the current Giza agent works
According to Giza's getting-started guide, you connect a wallet, pick a network, choose an Auto or Custom strategy, enter an amount, select markets, and confirm. The agent then watches rates across the markets you allowed and moves stablecoins to whichever pays best. After the first deposit transaction, the agent covers gas.
The architecture documentation describes ERC-4337 smart accounts powered by ZeroDev. Each user gets a deterministic smart-account address. The agent acts through a session key that is "time-bound, limited in scope, and revocable," with set approved contracts, functions, and limits. Deactivating the agent pulls funds out of every protocol, revokes the permission, and returns funds to your smart account.
Fees and rewards
Giza takes 10% of yield earned, deducted when you withdraw. Deposits, withdrawals, and rebalances are free.
On Base, Giza Rewards targets a 15% minimum APR. When native lending yield falls below that, Giza tops up the difference with protocol tokens such as COMP, WELL, MORPHO, and FLUID. The top-up shrinks as native yield rises and stops above 15%. Arbitrum and Plasma earn protocol rates only.
Deploy Finance: funding instead of lending
Deploy Finance runs two live agents, both funded and settled in USDC.
- Income: Funding Rates holds the spot asset against a matching perpetual short on Hyperliquid and collects funding paid by leveraged longs. It rebalances automatically and closes positions rather than paying when funding turns negative.
- Superstar takes long or short positions on perpetual markets under a defined strategy.
You sign in with email or Google, and Deploy creates a self-custodial wallet on Privy's embedded-wallet infrastructure. No browser extension is needed and you can export the keys. You fund it with USDC, choose an agent and allocation, and approve a session key. The agent can execute its trades with that key but cannot transfer or withdraw your funds, and you can revoke it at any time.
Deploy also runs an MCP server, so an AI client such as Claude can check agents, fund the wallet, delegate, and withdraw within the scopes you approve.
The two products are built in a similar way. Both use smart-wallet session keys, both say the operator cannot take your funds, and both can be driven from an AI client. What separates them is the market each agent works in. Lending yield moves with borrowing demand and with incentive programs. Funding yield moves with demand for leverage on perpetual venues. Each can compress, for different reasons.
When should you choose Deploy Finance or Giza?
Choose Deploy Finance when:
- You want yield from perpetual funding rather than from lending rates and incentive tokens.
- You want no cut taken from the yield your capital earns.
- You want to start from an email or Google sign-in without connecting an existing wallet.
- You want a directional agent available from the same wallet.
Choose Giza when:
- You want stablecoin lending yield and want an agent to rotate between protocols for you.
- You want to stay on Base, Arbitrum, or Plasma rather than move USDC to Hyperliquid.
- You want Base's incentive top-up toward a 15% APR target while it runs.
- You were an ARMA user and want the closest successor from the same team.
Same wallet pattern, different market: Giza's agent lends stablecoins across protocols. Deploy Finance's agents trade perpetual markets. No integration between the products is implied.
